Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Embryologist at IVF Asia Group in Manila, Philippines. The Senior Embryologist will be responsible for laboratory tasks related to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Assisted Reproduction, Andrology, and practices in the field of Medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Embryology Procedures: Perform various embryology procedures, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo culture, and embryo transfer.
- Quality Control: Ensure the highest quality control standards in the laboratory, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to optimize success rates.
- Foreign Experience Integration: Utilize your foreign experience to bring innovative and best practices to our laboratory, contributing to the continuous improvement of our ART programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the fertility team, including nurses, and laboratory staff, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Research and Development: Actively participate in ongoing research projects and contribute to the development of new techniques and protocols. Stay abreast of advancements in reproductive medicine.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior embryologists and laboratory staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Patient Education: Collaborate with the clinical team to educate patients on laboratory procedures, treatment options, and expectations, fostering a supportive and informed patient experience.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Biopsy Process: As an embryologist in IVF, your main responsibilities include performing precise embryo biopsy procedures according to protocols, handling and processing biopsy samples for genetic testing, and meticulously documenting outcomes and patient data.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as an embryologist, with a minimum of at least one (4-5) years of hands-on experience in an assisted reproductive technology laboratory setting, including experience gained internationally.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international regulations governing assisted reproductive technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Innovation: Demonstrate a commitment to innovation and the ability to integrate foreign experiences into existing practices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize laboratory processes.
